Foot Diseases and Surgery

Throughout the day, the feet bear the weight of the entire body. With each step, the bones, joints, and ligaments in the feet play their part. Carrying such a significant load, the feet can develop pain and deformities over time. Conditions such as bending of the toe tips, inward deviation of the big toe, heel pain, and calluses can occur. Additionally, degeneration in the foot joints may also manifest. Accurate diagnosis and appropriate treatment can yield promising results through detailed examinations and advanced imaging tests. Some common foot conditions include: • Morton's neuroma • Hallux valgus (bunion) • Plantar fasciitis (heel spur) • Hammer toe • Toe deformities • Foot calluses • Ingrown toenails • Diabetic foot ulcers • Freiberg's disease • Hallux rigidus • Flatfoot (pes planus) • Haglund's deformity • Foot fractures • Foot sweating and botox • Foot and toe amputations • Foot tendon, vascular, and nerve injuries

Ankle Diseases and Surgery

The ankle joint is a specialized joint that facilitates weight transfer between the foot and the leg, allowing for movement with each step. A healthy ankle should have well-functioning cartilage and Achilles tendon. Problems with joint cartilage or the Achilles tendon can lead to painful walking and an antalgic gait to avoid pain when the foot makes contact with the ground. Thorough examination and advanced diagnostics are necessary to assess ankle problems accurately. When the correct diagnosis is made, excellent results can be achieved through treatment. Some common ankle conditions include: • Achilles tendon disorders and ruptures | • Talus cartilage loss | • Tarsal tunnel syndrome | • Ankle nerve compression | • Low ankle | • Ankle sprains and ligament injuries | • Ankle fractures | • Ankle ligament injuries | • Chronic ankle pain | • Ankle vascular, nerve, and tendon injuries |
